Scientists Use Technology to Spy on the Wild

Scientist Jacalyn Willis and Gregory Willis appeared in a Spy on the Wild special on cable's Animal Planet channel. The 2-hour special presentation first aired Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, from 8 to 10 p.m. EST. Their educational segment filmed in Panama's rainforest ran about 10 minutes in the middle of the program. Dr. Willis said the program featured how biologists use technology to spy on wild animals, especially in tropical forests.
